WHO CAN JOIN THE SCOTTISH RITE AND HOW?
A Delaware AF & AM Mason can petition 60 days after receiving their Master Mason Degree at https://scottishritenmj.org/membership-application (out of state Brothers do not have to wait 60 days).
The Valley of Lower Delaware (VOLD) is part of the Delaware Council of Deliberation which consists of Valley of Wilmington (VOW) and VOLD. Both are part of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction (AASR-NMJ) which has its headquarters in Lexington, Massachusetts. The two Delaware Scottish Rite Lodges, VOLD and VOW, work together with Delaware’s Blue Lodges and AASR-NMJ. They encourage our history and roots in becoming a Scottish Rite Brother and while keeping our tradition with an eye on the changing future. This serves our Brothern to enjoy throughout an educational Masonic experience.
We are in the 21st century and we need to understand our past to guide us in the future through Masonic Scottish Rite Degrees. AASR-NMJ offers virtual degrees and informational learning material on line. The VOLD and VOW offers Brotherhood opportunities to view or participate in live degrees. This helps Brothers take advantage of today’s ever-changing technology and self-improvement. We now have a Scottish Rite Ambassador in each Delaware lodge who is a contact Brother. This contact will help all Brothers with any questions about Scottish Rite. Other source you can contact is AASR- NMJ @ Scottish Rite, NMJ | 32° Scottish Rite Freemasonry (scottishritenmj.org) for further information.
