    The Scottish Rite of Lower Delaware is looking forward to finishing the rest of 2022 and enjoying 2023.  Below are Valley of Lower Delaware’s schedule for Meetings, Reunions and Special Events. Looking forward to seeing everyone at meetings and Reunions this Scottish Rite year. 



        There are two schedule changes below:

  • The Council of Deliberations has been moved to the Maturity Center in Dover (it was to be at Evergreen Farms).
  • The date for the VOLD last Reunion is now May 13th and will be at Temple #9 in Milford (we will be performing the 28th and 7th degrees).

  • The Valley of Wilmington will have their 4th Reunion February 25th performing/showing the 26th & 18th degrees. This will take place at 818 Market St. in Wilmington on the 4th floor. Doors open at 07:30 am, 4th degree at 08:15 and meeting/degrees at 09:00.

 

  • The Valley of Lower Delaware will be preforming the Feast of the Pascal Lamb April 1st at the Masonic Temple in Dover. John Badeen will be starting the rehearsals soon and he will send a note out with schedule and times. Anyone interested in helping or taking part in the Feast, please contact John Badeen.


  The Supreme Council is pleased to announce an expansion of the eligibility criteria for Abbott Scholarship awards. Named for Leon M. Abbott, Sovereign Grand Commander from 1921 to 1932, the Abbott Scholarship Program provides financial support for the continuing undergraduate and graduate education of Scottish Rite Masons, young men and women from Scottish Rite families, and Masonic-related youth groups.


  Eligibility - those meeting any of the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Abbott Scholarship program for undergraduate studies:

  • A Scottish Rite Mason of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.
  • A student directly related (bloodline or by legal means) to a Scottish Rite Mason in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.
  • A Scottish Rite Mason, or a member of a youth organization sponsored by the Masonic fraternity in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.
  • A high school senior, currently accepted at an accredited trade school who has attained a minimum grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
  • A high school senior, or undergraduate, or graduate student currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.

   To apply, applicants should print the form, complete it, and mail it to the appropriate Valley secretary. Applicants should submit their application to the Valley of the sponsor of the applicant.

 This document has to be on Jim Brady's desk April 15th - no exceptions. So, it would be wise to bring this document to a Scottish Rite meeting, or Reunion, before the 15th or if you mail it, you need to get it in early.
